「可使食無肉,不可居無竹。無肉令人瘦,無竹令人俗。人瘦尚可肥,俗士不可醫。旁人笑此言,似高還似痴。」— 節錄宋‧蘇軾‧《於潛僧綠筠軒》 「農家好農家好,綠水青山四面繞,你種田我拔草,大家忘辛勞。」— 楊兆禎《農家好》 這是走路草農藝團第一次團體發表,延續國際藝術村《接地氣,嗎?》一展的脈絡,三位藝術家選擇了觀看作品的楔子,試圖引導各自對土地、環境、自然等議題的叩問。 |

「I would rather eat a meal without meat than live in a place without bamboo. Eating without meat makes you lose weight, but living without bamboo makes you lose refinement. When a person loses weight, it may be regained, but when scholars lose refinement they are untreatable. This is(Project Lactuca sativa III), to use block print as the create plan, cardboard boxes are my creations. However, the only way to have the box is to order one box of Lactuca sativa. The most important part that I want to express to all of you is the life task I have connections with my parents on the way of art. Therefore I change the packing into cardboard box to be the goal of my creation, through the handmade print, there will be some differences on the boxes which should be totally same , just like Lactuca sativa, although every one of them will not 100% alike. In this project I make use of the fallow season of Lactuca sativa to manufacture the boxes, and follow the purchasing convey to each collectors, to being one art pieces combine practical function and economy value but with unspecified destiny.

一段被「國家」排除對自我生長土地認同的童年,一位接不了地氣的創作者,透過作品緩述當「在地」如雨後春筍的被大力傳頌著,那被迫阻隔於外的疏離狀態。 「"--but I shall have to ask them what the name of the country is… …"And what an ignorant little girl she'll think me for asking! No, it'll never do to ask: perhaps I shall see it written up somewhere."」~ Alice in Wonderland After raised by “the country” made you ignore your local identity during your childhood, a “local not enough”artist has been shaped. Through the work, appearing artist’s feelings of alienation due to the executed situation when “local ”gradually becomes an important issue among everyone in the country. |
